A blog by Rachel Winner

This blog is by Rachel Winner - it is a canvas for the articulated mental meanderings of a traveler and wonderer. It is a blog for millennial superheroes to read while we wait for our costumes to finish at the eco-friendly dry cleaners; a diversion from the overwhelming pressure of picking a valiant cause from a deck of cards or deciding which coffee to order with the change we should be saving for the donation jar (or a Social Security replacement fund).

This is a blog of questions and musings - an interpretation of the world beyond the languages in the streets, beyond immediate impressions. It is created by twisting the colors through the Collidescope to see if a different lens can help make sense of the world, or at least offer more enjoyable view.

Rachel is in her early 30s, although sometimes she can't remember exactly how early. She is a professional writer, worrier (sometimes spelled warrior, depending on the amount of coffee she's had and the dialect of the region she's currently living in), and non-profit unicorn. Hailing from North Carolina, she's lived in quite a few states in the U.S., and Mexico for a brief time, and currently lives in the world's belly button, Jerusalem. She is working in two non-profits that are doing really incredible things not quite quickly enough to save the world, but super fun and important anyway. She enjoys Ultimate Frisbee, reading, tending anyone else's garden that is not her own, and she attributes all future awards to her brilliant family.
